Desta vez nenhum trabalhador se feriu ao fazer a coleta, por\u00e9m a Secretaria Municipal de Meio Ambiente alerta para que esse tipo de material perfurocortante seja descartado adequadamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este ano foi a segunda vez que situa\u00e7\u00e3o assim foi registrada pelo Departamento de Limpeza P\u00fablica. Em 2021, 10 trabalhadores acidentaram-se com seringas e res\u00edduos cortantes ao fazer a coleta de materiais org\u00e2nicos ou recicl\u00e1veis do munic\u00edpio (mesmo com uso de equipamentos de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individual). Os feridos precisam fazer v\u00e1rios exames e passar por procedimentos para preservar a sa\u00fade. Isso porque materiais perfurocortantes trazem risco de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o de doen\u00e7as como hepatites, HIV, dentre outras transmiss\u00edveis por sangue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Como descartar corretamente<br \/><\/strong>As seringas usadas nunca devem ser descartadas junto com a coleta de lixo comum e nem jogadas em terrenos. Elas devem ser entregues armazenadas, dentro de embalagem resistente, em qualquer uma das unidades b\u00e1sicas de sa\u00fade (UBS) do munic\u00edpio, para ser dado o destino correto a esse tipo de res\u00edduo infectante (independente de onde a pessoa tenha adquirido). As UBS podem orientar sobre outros detalhes desse tipo de material de sa\u00fade, como caixas de papel\u00e3o ou garrafas pet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Crime<br \/><\/strong>Se identificado, o respons\u00e1vel pelo descarte irregular pode ser punido com multa no valor de R$1.000, por se tratar de um crime.
